Andrew Park from GameSpot took a first look at Risen 2 during the Games Developer Conference and wrote a short article about it. There are also some screenshots available. The release is claimed to be this year.

The game is still very early in development but already looks extremely promising. Risen 2 will offer better graphics, a bigger world, and an all-new story. The game will be released later this year.
