Our russian Partnersite Piranha Club managed to get some members of Piranha Bytes to fill a question paper they created.
Here are the answers from Ralf Marczinczik.

Printer, after a Hauptschulabschluss. I studied at the university by second-chance education.

4) What is you job at Piranha Bytes?
Art director/Illustrator
5) What was the first computer game you played in your life? And are you still playing it from time to time?
RIVEN. But I have been inserting it only to take screenshots for reference purposes for quite a while.
6) What game are you currently playing?
Assassin's Creed.
7) Do you like reading and if yes what is your favorite book?
I do like reading and I do it a lot. But there are too many books in our house to point at one which I like best. We're currently at about 30,000 volumes in our library.
At the moment, I favor a book named "The Hounted House" which is 110 years old. I bought it at an online antiquarian bookshop. Dreamlike illustrations...
8) Do prefer to read the book in the electronic form or as a real book you can hold in your hands?
I prefer the printed form.
9) What is your favorite film genre?
Any genre and any era of film (there are many russian classics as well!)
10) What is your favorite movie (it's okay to state more than one if you find it hard to choose only one)?
Blade Runner, Lawrence of Arabia, At Razors Edge... and about 500 others...
11) What is your favorite movie character?
The Muppets.
12) Your favorite music?
Again, everything from any time and genre. I'm still very interested in everything about "Dead can Dance" even though they unfortunately don't exist anymore.
13) Do you listen to classical music and does it inspire you at your work (if you're allowed to hear music there, of course)?
Permanently. I listen to Lounge online radio stations and a lot of modern classic like Peteris Vasks or Nicolas Lens.
14) Your favorite food?
Sushi.
15) What is your favorite beverage?
Cola light.
16) Do you do any sports and if so what form?
Swimming.
17) Do you have a hobby? Or is the work your hobby?
I collect films and books like a madman. And I love do draw comics.
18) Do you have any pets at home? Perhaps a dog, a cat or a fish - like a piranha?
No, not yet.
19) So you have children? If so, did they also play your games? (I remember a story which Johnny Depp told in an interview. He came home in the costume of Jack to give his children a pleasure and they only said: "Dad, don't bother us, go away, we're watching Spierman!")

20) Do any of your friends or family play your games?
Many of my friends work as game designers. Therefore, games are always a topic.
21) How do they like them?
I like many of them and others, I only made to pay the rent. But there is not much to be ashamed about.
[The original question had been translated ambiguously from russian to german. "They" is a formal way of addressing someone you are not familiar with (think of the archaic form "thou" in english). The only way to know if the word refers to the one you're talking to (2nd person singular) or to a group of others (3rd person plural) is by context and in the written form, whether the word starts with a capital letter. Here, the writing suggested that Piranha Club asked Ralf what he thinks while context suggested that they were interested in what those others from the previous question think. That is why Ralf's answer does not seem to fit to the question. I think he misinterpreted the question.]

Definitely. I'm constantly reading the comments in the forums.
23) How do you usually spend your holidays?
I like to see new cities and countries.
24) Do you like travelling and what country would you like to visit the most?
I like travelling (as a process) and are really nuts on Spain.
25) Have been to Russia before? If not, would you like to visit Moscow or Saint Peterburg? Or more some exotical place like the sibirian taiga or the Altai mountains?
Not yet, unfortunately. But I have many friends who've been to Saint Petersburg and nag me about going there myself.
