A new video interview of Pete Brolly (DeepSilver's brand manager) has been released. He discusses the companions and makes a few references to the upcoming DLC. Despite the fact that the interview doesn't bring new information about the game, some new excerpts of what is probably the game soundtrack can be heard in the background; they remind of the Pirates of the Caribbean OST, if not through melody, at least through orchestration.

Another fragment about the geography of Risen 2 has been posted on risen2.com. Here is an excerpt:

At the foothills of the great unknown lands of Arborea lays Maracai Bay. The bay can be reached only by an avid sailor from the Sword Coast after going west for several sea miles.

The Maracai Bay is the home of the namesake tribe of the Maracai. They have established a protected camp on the island and are dedicated to protecting the country, the secret valleys and the magnificent temples of the ancient world.
