Deep Silver hat neben der normalen Blogseite auf ihren eigenen Servern ein zweites "offizielles" Blog eingerichtet, das bei IGN gehostet und vom Brand Manager, Daniel Oberlerchner, geführt wird. Die Sprache des Blogs ist englisch.

In seinem Einführungsartikel erzählt Daniel ein wenig von sich selbst und von RISEN. Nichts, was ein regelmäßiger Besucher unserer Seite nicht schon längst wüsste, aber was für bisher von RISEN Unbeleckte einen ersten Eindruck dessen vermittelt, was sie bei dem Spiel erwartet.

The publisher of RISEN, Deep Silver, has launched a blog on IGN which is to be maintained by Daniel Oberlerchner, the brand manager of Deep Silver.

In his introductory article, he tells a bit about himself and RISEN. Nothing that any regular reader of our site should not already know but general information to get the interest of others.

Piranha Club, партнерский сайт World of Risen приостановил свою работу. Теперь по адресу www.piranhaclub.eu, вместо обычного форума висит лишь короткое сообщение о закрытии.

Таким образом, завершилась история популярного двуязычного фан-сайта, на котором русские и немецкие фанаты обсуждали игры и самих Пираний, и которым руководили компетентные люди, никогда не преследовавшие в своей деятельности никаких коммерческих интересов.

В ближайшее время ждем официального заявления. Мы будем держать вас в курсе дела.

Our russian partner site Piranha-Club has shut down its services. By today, only a short closure notice instead of the usual forums is displayed under the old address www.piranhaclub.eu.

With this, the history of the ambitioned, bilingual fansite which took up the cause of the german-russian dialogue about the developer studio Piranha Bytes and its games and was lead and supported by highly motivated fans without commercial interests, has reached its end.

A statement with the reasons for this measure is expected for tomorrow. We will keep you updated.

Unsere russische Partnerseite Piranha-Club hat ihren Betrieb eingestellt. Ab heute erreicht man beim Aufruf der alten Adresse www.piranhaclub.eu statt des bisherigen Forums nur noch eine Seite, die in verschiedenen Sprachen die Schließung des Portals erklärt.

Damit geht die Geschichte der ambitionierten, zweisprachig aufgebauten Fanseite, die sich den deutsch-russischen Dialog in Zusammenhang mit dem Entwicklerstudio Piranha Bytes und dessen Spielen auf die Fahnen geschrieben hatte und ohne kommerzielle Interessen von motivierten Fans betrieben und unterstützt wurde, zu Ende.

Eine Stellungnahme mit den Gründen wird für morgen erwarten, wir halten euch natürlich auf dem Laufenden.

Another animal made its appearance in the official beastiary: This time, it's the wolf. Although they might look a bit fluffy, the wolves in RISEN are dangerous enemies.

Excerpt:

Once at the top of the food chain, wolves are now so starved that they will attack anything and everything they encounter, even if it is a clearly superior opponent. The animals are mad with hunger and, because the bony beasts hunt in packs, no one and nothing is safe from them.

Wie jeden Mittwoch wurde das Bestarium des offiziellen Risen Blogs heute um einen Eintrag erweitert.
Dieses Mal hat ein guter alter Bekannter seinen Auftritt: der Wolf.
Entgegen ihres fast kuscheligen Äußerens, sind die Wölfe in Risen sehr gefährliche Gegner. Doch lest selbst:

Der Hunger hat die Tiere um den Verstand gebracht, und da die knochendürren Biester vornehmlich im Rudel jagen, ist nichts und niemand vor ihnen sicher. So mancher siegreiche Recke, der nach hartem Kampf sein Opfer plündern wollte, wurde von plötzlich aus dem Unterholz auftauchenden Wölfen vertrieben und um seine wohlverdiente Beute gebracht.

Soeben wurde im offiziellen Risen Blog ein neuer Teaser veröffentlicht.

Das knapp zweiminütige Video zeigt einige atmosphärische Eindrücke aus dem Spiel und ist mit einem treibenden Musikstück der Band Nightwish unterlegt.
