Nachdem unsere russische Partnerseite Piranha Club kürzlich geschlossen wurde, haben wir uns entschlossen, dem Piranha Club bei World of Risen eine neue Heimstatt zu geben. Elind und ihr Team wird unser Team verstärken und sowohl eine russische Zone auf der Webseite betreuen als auch ein eigenes russisches Forum innerhalb der World of Risen moderieren. Wir hoffen, daß damit die russischen Fans weiterhin einen Platz haben, um ihrer Kreativität freien Lauf zu lassen und miteinander zu diskutieren.

Die Inhalte des Piranha Clubs werden in den nächsten Wochen in die zu erstellende russische Zone von World of Risen übertragen werden.

The trade show "gamescom" which is the unofficial successor of the GamesConvention, will occur for the first time this year. From the 19th to the 23rd of August, 2009, the show will take place in Cologne, Germany.

Deep Silver will also have a booth there and not only show RISEN but also hold a presentation two to four times a day in which the developers of Piranha Bytes present their new game themselves and answer questions from fans.

At the booth, visitors can then play a modified version of RISEN which includes the entire island but is stripped of some monsters and quests to prevent too much spoiling. Twenty PC- and ten Xbox360 stations are available for that.

The presentations with Piranha Bytes will occur on this schedule:

• Wednesday, August 19th: 11:30 and 15.00
• Thursday, August 20th: 12.30 and 17.30
• Friday, August 21st: 12.30 and 17.30 Uhr
• Saturday, August 22nd: 10.30, 12.45, 16.45 and 18.30
• Sunday, August 23rd: 12.15 and 15.00

Выставка Gamescom, которая является неофициальным преемником Games Convention, впервые пройдет в этом году в Кельне, с 19 по 23 августа.

У DeepSilver там также будет стенд, где будет демонстрироваться Ризен. Несколько раз в день будут проходить презентации игры, в ходе которых разработчики Piranha Bytes представят свою новую игру и ответят на вопросы посетителей.

На стенде можно будет сыграть в модифицированную версию Ризен, в которой представлен весь остров, но отнюдь не все монстры и квесты. Играть можно будет на 20 компьютерах и 10 приставках.

Расписание презентаций Piranha Bytes:

- Среда, 19 августа: 11:30 и 15:00
- Четверг, 20 августа: 12:30 и 17:30
- Пятница, 21 августа, 12:30 и 17:30
- Суббота, 22 августа, 10:30, 12:45, 16:45 и 18:30
- Воскресенье, 23 августа, 12:15 и 15:00

Die Spielemesse gamescom in Köln, die die Leipziger GamesConvention beerbt, findet dieses Jahr erstmalig statt und zwar in der Zeit vom 19. bis zum 23. August 2009.

Auch Deep Silver ist mit einem Stand auf der Messe vertreten und zeigt dort nicht nur RISEN selbst, sondern veranstaltet auch zwei bis vier Mal täglich eine Präsentation mit Piranha Bytes, bei der die Entwickler persönlich ihr neues Spiel vorstellen und auch Fragen der Fans beantworten.

Am Stand können die Besucher dann auf zwanzig PC- und zehn Xbox360-Stationen selbst eine leicht modifizierte Version von RISEN anspielen, in der die ganze Inselwelt verfügbar ist, aus der aber einige Quests und Monster entfernt wurden, um nicht zu viel zu verraten.

Die Termine der Präsentationen sind:

• Mittwoch, 19. August: 11:30 Uhr und 15.00 Uhr
• Donnerstag, 20. August: 12.30 Uhr und 17.30 Uhr
• Freitag, 21. August: 12.30 Uhr und 17.30 Uhr
• Samstag, 22. August: 10.30 Uhr, 12.45 Uhr, 16.45 Uhr und 18.30 Uhr
• Sonntag, 23. August: 12.15 Uhr und 15.00 Uhr

The online magazine Hooked Gamers has released a preview of RISEN. Regular readers of our site do not find a lot of new info there but it is a one page summary of what is currently known about the game.

Excerpt:

Good CRPGs are an unfortunately rare sight in today's game market, so we hold high hopes for Risen. The developers are working on a demo which will allow us to see what the game will offer a little bit better than the trailers and stories do, but I'm pretty confident that, with the experience that the developers have of RPG design, we will be treated with a fine CRPG.

Наконец определены возрастные ограничения для Risen в Европе и США. Хотя в официальной базе данных PEGI эта информация пока не появилась, бренд-менеджер DeepSilver Дэниель Оберлерхнер (doberlec) подтвердил, что рейтинг утвержден окончательно.

USK(Германия ) - от 12 и выше
PEGI (страны Европы ) - от 16
ESRB (США ) - от 17

По словам Издателя все версии игры в разных странах имеют одинаковое содержание, за исключением озвучения. Из-за рейтинговой системы возрастных ограничений в Англии, "писание" персонажей будет удалено из всех версий.

Finally, all age ratings of the most important rating authorities in Europe and the USA are set. Although the PEGI rating is not yet available in the official database, Daniel Oberlerchner confirmed that the rating from the PEGI is also final.

The age ratings are:

USK (Germany): 12 and above
PEGI (many other european countries): 16 and above
ESRB (USA): Mature (17 and above)

The publisher emphasises the fact that except for the synchronisation, all versions have the same content. Only due to an intervention of the british rating offices, the urinating of the NPCs which was not a problem in Gothic 1 and 2 had to be removed from all versions.

Mittlerweile liegen alle Alterseinstufung von RISEN für die meisten Länder Europas und Nordamerika vor. Die PEGI-Einstufung ist bis jetzt zwar nicht in der offiziellen Datenbank nicht eingetragen, jedoch hat Daniel Oberlerchner im Forum bestätigt, dass die endgültige Freigabe seitens der PEGI nun auch vorliege.

Die Wertungen sind:

USK (Deutschland): ab 12
PEGI (viele europäische Länder): ab 16
ESRB (USA): Mature (17+)

Es wird vom Publisher ausdrücklich betont, dass abgesehen von der Synchronisation alle Versionen den gleichen Inhalt haben. Allerdings musste aufgrund der englischen Prüfbehörden das bei Gothic 1 und 2 enthaltene und unbeanstandete Urinieren der NPCs aus allen Versionen entfernt werden.

Die GameStar Ausgabe 08/2009 enthielt eine ausführliche Preview von RISEN (wir berichteten), mit diversen neuen Screenshots und der Ankündigung des Release-Termins. Die komplette Preview ist nun offiziell im Internet allgemein verfügbar.

"Ich weiß, die Floskel klingt abgedroschen, aber sie stimmt einfach: Risen ist das Spiel, das Gothic 3 hätte sein sollen. Nämlich ein spielerisch und grafisch aufpoliertes Gothic 2 mit etwas mehr Bedienkomfort, netten Höhlenrätseln, taktischeren Kämpfen sowie einer faszinierenden Welt, die zum Erkunden und Abenteuern einlädt."
